Our mission
Mutcho radio network mission is to create content that fosters connections between African descent communities across Canada.
Too often, the black community lacks visibility and opportunities in the media industry. We aim to provide a platform for talented media graduates and community members to share their perspectives and showcase their knowledge and capabilities.
By creating relatable, meaningful content, we can challenge the perception that African descent individuals are just consumers and demonstrate that we are also skilled creators and developers. Mutcho radio network’s goal is to establish a radio program that delves into the unique experiences and journeys of the black community in Canada.

The objective of the Mutcho Radio Network is to:
Develop and broadcast content that celebrates the rich history, diverse stories, and unique experiences of Black communities across Canada.
By providing a platform for underrepresented voices, the Mutcho Radio Network aims to:
– Foster stronger connections between African descent communities throughout the country
– Challenge stereotypes and showcase the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of African descent individuals
– Preserve and share the cultural heritage and narratives of people of African descent in Canada
– Empower the Black community to tell their own stories in their own way.
Through its programming, the Mutcho Radio Network will strive to be a trusted, community-driven source of information, education, and inspiration. The ultimate goal is to amplify diverse perspectives, celebrate Black excellence, and strengthen the bonds within the Canadian Black diaspora.
Mutcho radio is Youth-engaged, community-engaged, and African-centric radio.

Mutcho radio is a hub for those interested in hearing the untold stories of African communities and the greater community as a whole. Mutcho focuses on what issues and celebrations affect our world while providing an authentic community voice.
Mutcho radio is not only acting as a hub for stories but also, opens the door to a field of work that is underrepresented by a diverse population. This will be accomplished by providing expertise, training as well as a platform for these learners.
